Kirkby Lonsdale is an historic market town in Cumbria. The River Lune flows through it in the Lune Valley. It is only approximately a 20 minute journey by car from Sedbergh, in the Yorkshire Dales. Map of journey. The town is a great tourist attraction, famous for Devil's Bridge and Ruskin's View among many others.

There are so many things to do in Kirkby Lonsdale. From popping in and out of the many interesting shops dotted around the main street, to relaxing with a hot drink and a delicious slice of cake in any one of the cosy cafes in town. There are endless walks around the town itself and a great spot for an ice cream is down by Devil's Bridge after a nice stroll by the River Lune.
