The Yorkshire Dales National Park was created in 1954 and covers an area of 1,762 square kilometres (680 square miles). The National Park is located in the north of England and straddles the central Pennines in the counties of North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Located near the Lake District National Park.
An area of outstanding natural beauty, it is estimated that the Yorkshire Dales National Park sees over 9 million visitors every year!
