Keswick
The beautifully located Keswick is situated on the shores of Derwentwater, in the Lake District National Park. Keswick is about one hour from the town of Sedbergh, Cumbria, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Map of journey.
From Keswick you are able to explore the major lakes, picturesque valleys and unspoilt villages. The mountains of Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell are all within easy reach.
This is a wonderful area in which to try new outdoor activities or to improve your existing skills. Walkers and climbers are spoilt for choice. From the towering fell summits to more relaxed forest trails and lakeside paths, there are routes suitable for all.
